Dr. Majid Taghavi is an Assistant Professor of Management Science at the Sobey School of Business. His area of expertise is stochastic optimization applied to business problems.
He is an expert in a variety of business analytics models, tools, and algorithms. He also uses data analytics tools and algorithms to help managers to make informed decisions inspired by the data. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and the School of Health Administration at Dalhousie University.
